May 28, 2020 PHASE 2 PLANS


We’re excited to announce that the Seattle GYM is hoping to open our doors in June (open date will be dependent on Governor Inslee’s announcement of a start date for Phase 2. As Fitness club owners, a healthy environment is our primary goal. We certainly understand the importance of social distancing and the need to limit attendance.

For the past two months our businesses have been focused on the best ways to achieve this restart successfully. We have been hard at work to reconfigure the club layout and develop cleaning and social distancing protocols for reopening so that you feel comfortable when you decide to come back. Please see below for a list of new safeguards we’re putting in place, and some important changes.


Reopening Protocols & Guidelines:
Phase 2 operations will include,3 Options:
by appointment Personal Training,
PTX Small Group Classes and
Gym training – all limited to 5 members.

3. For Phase 2 GYM Training
• You will need to make reservation. (Reservation Link coming soon)
• Since we can only accommodate 5 members per hour, NO walkins possible
• Access to GYM Training is FREE.
• Some areas of the GYM are still closed, however the entire 1st floor weight room is open.

• Before you come to the gym, you will need to reserve online to book a 60-minute workout time slot to ensure we are limiting to 5 the number of people in the club.
- We will open up registration for workout time slots 5 days prior to our reopening date.

OTHER MEMBER INFORMATION
• Daily staff wellness checks will occur and potentially, wellness checks for members (pending Governor’s guidelines).
• Members will get their own disinfectant bottle and cleaning towel at check-in and are expected to clean equipment before and after use.
• Members are required to bring their own water bottles. Water fountains are shut down, however the refill station will be open.
• In addition, staff will be cleaning equipment and facility with hospital-grade disinfectant throughout the day and thorough cleanings will be done each evening.
• We have modified the facility flow and equipment spacing to ensure that everyone has ample space.
• Our staff members will be wearing masks, in accordance with government guidelines. Masks are optional for members.
• Members should arrive dressed to workout. Locker rooms will be open for bathroom use only. No showers or saunas at this time.
• Per Phase 2 guidelines, high-risk clients are not permitted in fitness facilities. This includes people over the age of 65 and people with serious underlying health conditions.
• Guests are not allowed in the facility at this time. We ask that you leave promptly after a workout for others safety.
• Our Online Workouts have been a huge hit and we’re excited to announce that these will continue, even once we reopen.
